[ PHILANTHROPY ] is a not-for-profit, charity fanzine celebrating the relationship between Solid Snake and Otacon during their Philanthropy era.
What is the theme of this zine?
The focus of this zine is about Snake and Otacon’s Philanthropy era, a timeline that spans from a few months after the end of MGS1 to the end of MGS2. This fanzine is not only a celebration of their growing love and friendship, but also about their shared mission to save the world from the military industrial complex, Patriot manipulation of society, and nuclear-capable Metal Gear proliferation.
What is the tone of this zine?
Feel free to get creative and open with your interpretation of what Otasune/Philanthropy means to you. We love MGS because the story contains dark themes presented against a backdrop that is interspersed with moments of romance, parody, comedy, and weirdness.
